Consulting: Needs Assessment & Analysis

Partners in Development collaborates with you to understand your organization’s unique culture, goals, and business strategies. We listen to you define your current and desired business results. We then take a systematic approach to analyze ideal and current performance levels, and identify causes and potential solutions to closing those gaps. To accomplish this, we:
    • Use a variety of methods such as surveys, focus groups, personal interviews, and organizational document reviews to obtain input and clearly identify the causes of performance gaps. We analyze and summarize the data into meaningful findings.

    • Review analysis findings, present options, and assist you in choosing cost-effective actions that lead to closing performance gaps.

    • Collaborate with business managers to assess the impact of planned changes, then design support actions that enable team members to implement the changes.

Development: Planning and Strategies

When dealing with a business problem or developing an organizational vision and strategy, it is sometimes difficult to see the proverbial “forest for the trees.” Our staff includes experienced meeting and strategic planning facilitators who can assist you to gain new insights about your organization and identify break-through ideas. Then we work with you to construct a plan for implementing major changes such as restructuring, reorganizing, and launching new products or services.

To create strategies and action plans that lead to results, Partners in Development:
    • Reviews analysis findings and assists you in choosing options that lead to effective change management.

    • Facilitates project planning sessions to create action plans.

    • Consults to identify workplace learning and performance (WLP) needs for your organization.

    • Identifies and garners the resources needed to close performance gaps.

Implementation: Training and Coaching

We specialize in leadership and management development training that is research-based on current best practices as well as time-tested principles. All of our courses are facilitated by experts who have content expertise, business experience, and knowledge of workplace learning and performance. Every course is highly interactive, ensuring maximum attention and completion. Participants are able to directly apply learning to their unique situations.     • A fully developed leadership curriculum of training courses that is ready for delivery to your team members. Most courses come in two formats—face-to-face instructor-led and blended e-learning.

    • Customized course design, development and delivery of technical training courses, such as customer service and sales, as well as other solutions, including performance coaching, job aids, and case studies.

    • Training institutes which are a series of courses aligned and sequenced into a progressive curriculum. Each course builds on skills from previous ones so that participants master the concepts and are able to apply them in their work. Two institutes are currently available—one for leaders and managers, the other for individuals in charge of training others.

    • Coaching expertise in assessing individual development needs, providing feedback, creating individual development plans, performance coaching and assessing progress.

Consulting: Measurement and Evaluation

Partners in Development understands that for you, training and development are an investment, not simply an expense. We work with you to identify ways to track and measure short and long-term impacts, and return on your performance improvement investment. This includes:
    • Regular post-training reviews to identify highlights and areas for improvement.

    • Post-training support to participants as they apply their new skills on the job.

    • Management reports so that you can evaluate learner progress. We offer group achievement reports on feedback and assessments.
