How You Will Benefit

After successfully completing FlexStyle Leadership participants will be able to:

    1. Differentiate the four primary leadership styles (Instruct, Coach, Relate, and Delegate) and when to use each style effectively.

    2. Gain valid and reliable feedback about their use of the four leadership styles.

    3. Assess individual and team performance indicators (their capacity/competence and their desire/confidence) to complete a task.

    4. Apply the language of FlexStyle Leadership to redirect an individual or teams whose work performance is growing or slipping.

    5. Leave with a plan that targets specific actions to accelerate their leadership effectiveness.

Session Length Options

This course is delivered in either a 4-hour or full-day session with a more complete coverage of topic and considerably advanced skills building offered in the full day session. The course is also offered as an instructor-led, four week blended e-learning course.


Advanced Preparation

To enhance the level of learning to performance, participants will be asked to complete basic preparatory work in advance of the course. This includes completing a self- or multi-rater FlexStyle Leadership assessment and reading a best-in-class article.
